After law school, Charles articled at the Waterloo office of a full-service national law firm before moving to Toronto to practise at a boutique family law firm where he focused primarily on family law cases that required litigation. Charles joined the Galbraith Family Law team in the Spring of 2019.

Charles’ family law experience allows him to effectively advocate for his clients and ensuring their interests are protected is at the forefront of his practise. Charles recognizes that there are financial and emotional costs in family law and works with his litigation and non-litigation clients to obtain resolution of their matter as quickly as possible and aims to minimize their costs. He looks for alternatives to litigation where possible and will only recommend litigation when it is necessary to protect his client’s interests.

In his spare time, Charles enjoys spending time with his friends and family while keeping busy playing hockey and softball. He also plays the tenor saxophone.
