“Separations are a super stressful and difficult time. It’s really important to me to be the supportive person who helps to make things easier for my clients to do right by themselves and their family. To get through a separation in one piece and be okay. To imagine a future after separation. I will support you to make things better on the other side, so that you and your family will make it in one piece.

I work with families primarily in the Collaborative Process because this practice allows dignity and respect for couples to talk about what matters most to them. I will help to guide you through those bumpy and difficult conversations.

My 30 years of being a lawyer has included being part of the leadership in Collaborative Practice. I am so passionate about the power of this practice that I have also served as a board member of York Collaborative Practice and the Ontario Collaborative Law Federation. As a Dispute Resolution Officer in the Ontario Superior Court my role was to help families discuss and settle matters in that system.

My practice is restricted to non-litigation and settlement files, where I help people move forward and get solid closure.

I live in Aurora with my two children. Outside the law office I enjoy singing with the York Region Community Choir, walking my dog and destressing with yoga. Please call or email me…I am happy to have a chat with you about the Collaborative Process!”
